After years of working as a copywriter and journalist, I gradually discovered where my true passion lies. That, besides writing books, is applying personalised work. It is the combination of writing and walking, continuing to travel and be inspired by magical places, that calls for a creative connection. I make that connection through poetry. 

After walking 4,600 kilometres through Spain, Portugal and France, the Hukaf fell into place. The white walls of southern Spanish houses gave the answer: for me, they are blank sheets of paper, asking to be enriched with the story that otherwise remains invisible.  

By adding personalised poetry inside or outside the house, a place takes on a uniquely different emotional experience. I call that poetry Hukaf, the name with which I also sign my work. 

Be part of a bigger project  

All the room I apply will compile into a new book of poetry. This creates the magical experience of being part of a larger, international project, where each Hukaf is a small chapter in the bigger picture of a poetic journey. Thus, a Hukaf has the exclusivity of a commissioned painting and the magic of a new chapter in a book that forms itself. A Hukaf is 100 per cent authentic.
